Also, a tiny bit of glycerin in your potions will help keep the luster in suspension more. It's not perfect, but it helps a little. I love the bottle you chose for your healing potion! It's not like a real apothecary has access to factory-made identical bottles! They probably recycle whatever they can find! Love it.

Definitely into upcycling lol! I have some glycerine for my next round of potions and ingredients! :))

Our favourite Alchemist? But of course, Feb -The Messy Alchemist! Besides, what alchemist is worth her salt without multi-coloured and glued fingers? Seriously, though...That's some real nice crafting going on there. Ya know, I just thought of something. I'd get a bunch of the small bottles you showed and fill them with whisky. They'd be labeled things like "Elixer of Un-Steadiness" and "Portion of Courage" and things like that (although we know it's not really Skyrim, but more D&D)

Cute idea, you are very clever, Feb! Bottle of Nuka Cola next, maybe? I'd love to be crafty and make some Elder Scrolls potions. Lots from other games, too, like some pretty ones from The Witcher 3, and an Estus flask from Dark Souls! Fun to make and look at 🙂

So much room for DIY creativity! The search for bottles and containers could be half the fun. No two alchemists would come up with the same thing so it is wide open to each and every apprentice of Febrith's School Of Alchemy. If I start yet another hobby inspired by this I wonder if I will run out of house space before I run out of ingredients and potions to display. Oh who am I kidding, I tend to get...enthusiastic about new hobbies so of course free space will be at a premium. I anticipate the eyes averted and hurried busy busy responses of friends, afraid I am about to offer them yet another decorative potion or ingredient that I had great joy making but cannot find a place for. I owned and ran a private research lab for almost a decade and shelves of various chemicals ready to be turned into amazing concoctions is near and dear to my heart lol. Looking forward to seeing what you create.

Half the trees on my property are junipers (not sure if Europe has their own variety). The berries are about pea-sized and pale, dusty blue. Instead of bottling up isopropyl alchohol for potions, have you considered making liqueurs? Pick your target color and choose an appropriate fruit. You can google recipes, but roughly they're plain vodka, fruit, any spices like vanilla beans, mash it up and let it set for a few weeks. Strain, add sugar syrup to taste. Better than what you buy in the shop, vibrant colors, keeps (forever?). You can drink the other 98% of the batch, or bottle it up for Christmas presents. EDIT: OK, this is a bottomless pit. US available product "Brew Glitter, The original edible glitter for drinks". I suppose there's no need to make your own liqueur if you aren't of a mind to, just buy something suitable. For each potion, pick a liqueur and a glitter (or just use gold glitter for everything). Get a spice rack sized to use the bottles you select.
