He actually has 3 different responses to that option, 1st one is if you haven't killed any dragons yet and the 2nd is if you already have, the 3rd is if you kill Alduin prior to meeting him. The 3rd response is the best imo

I summoned Mr. Durnehviir in Sovngarde, figured he's dead so he'd fit right in. It didn't occur to me until later that letting an undead dragon with a penchant for necromancy run loose inside heaven might not be such a good idea.
