i'll have to admit, before this let's play started i was hoping Gopher would ignore the screaming masses and leave Inigo out of this let's play because i was worried it might clash. never been more glad to be wrong.

Great Job! Given Inigo is such a critical friend and sidekick, I thought these books needed attention that was not “a semi-quick read” and yet were too large to be done within an action episode as they would make-up most of it. I really like the the idea of having them as separate - a piece or pieces (either all three together or each separate sorta between the next action adventure episode). Also nicely read… bet you did a great job reading stories to your own kids when they were little mites.

Inigo, such an incredible companion mod, it's making pretty much all the vanilla companions seem half done. Thanks for reading the books Gopher, I was hoping you would... speaking of a video series of reading the books of Skyrim ... ;P ;)

I don't think that is the "real" Langley. There are 4 boxes, what looks like coffins, under his porch. There is a bowl of Moonsugar next to his bed on the side next to his bed, and there is a trap door under his bed. I don't trust him at all.

Ah, a lovely bit of story to listen to while waking up. You have such a great voice Gopher. :) You see, my character read the books immediately after they were handed to her, so she had a deeper perspective on Langley when she went to talk to him further. It makes quite a difference.

Very much appreciate the extra time you took to separate and read these. Inigo makes a great character companion, and this back story of him certainly adds to that. Quite a mod author to create such a character. Thanks so much for making these video LP's. I'm constantly looking forward to the next episodes. Although... I've found out that watching them with a toothache and laughing... Brings tears to the eyes... Yes... it most certainly does... ow.. ow..

Initially I didn't listen to these book reads but boy am I glad that I did. This is a really great story and makes me love Inigo's character even more. And Gopher, really fantastic job on the reading. I know you've read some books in skyrim before, have you read all of them aloud? If you haven't, you do such a good job that it might be a great series of videos.

This mod shows how to combine Bethesda RPG and a voiced protagonist. Just don't make the player character a voiced protagonist. Imagine if in Fallout 4 you would start as one of 10 or so surviving vault dwellers, and had an option to help Frank find his missing son...

i hope they learned their lesson and keep voiced protagonists out their main games and get better witters and actors i will be a happy scot. i mean i would't be against voiced player characters in their games but they would have to be like the witcher where you play a character already made for you.

There are a lot of mods out there that don't come close to Inigo, and those authors didn't have deadlines, funding issues, or bosses either. Those things are factors I'm sure, but SBC cares more than most and it shows.

Yep, I forgot how I like to be read things by Gopher. I would actually pay for a mod that could play his audio on every books in Skyrim when you open them. The tone, the fluidity, the accent, the voice and the diction make this perfect. Gopher may not be an awesome voice actor (I don't know...) but he would be a perfect storyteller. By the way, and completely off topic, I just played Akinator again, and that MotherLover was able to guess Gopher...

Its tragic that their parents died in combat.. but at least they died in each orher embrace.. wish they grow old to see their sons get married and have kids for them to spoil...

I've been working for few years on V3 so far - it's massive. You can see some preview material on friendsofingio(dot)com if you're interested (direct links to the site can be found on his Nexus pages and below his official videos). That said, Inigo's real main quest is his friendship with the player, and that is already quite fleshed out in the current version - it starts to unlock properly once Bad Vibrations has been completed and you've settled the matter of your shared/not shared past.

I wasn't aware watching this series that Inigo was a mod. Holy hell man. It's bloody fantastic. I'm seriously blown away right now after this realization. Amazing work.
