Only a theory, but maybe instead of Mercer Frey, you continue in the questline (I know, but stay with me) until you get Karliah and Brynyolf as quest companions instead? 2 instead of 1?

@@kosho2994 I don't believe they follow you outside of the dwarven ruins in that quest but I'm not 100% sure.

When i used the mod to make everyone follow me, it just crashed everytime i have 13 followers. 😩

Does getting Arvak prevent from having Serana as an extra?

@@VeryEvilGM Yes I believe it does. Serana only remains as a 'quest follower' if you never take her back to Castle Volkihar and the only way to get Arvak is entering the Soul Cairn that's found in Castle Volkihar.

@@Grant-andTheRaptorIn my play through i was able to have Serena plus another follower right before fighting Harkon. And even after defeating him, i could swap out followers while still keeping Serana. So getting Arvak is actually possible while also keeping Serana around.

@@kaichi3349 No way! I didn't think it was possible. Although I think he would disrupt the summon setup I do to get the skeleton army. Nice to know you can get him for utility though.
