@TextualDeviant8 ай бұрын
Man kills one guy by accident, and chat must let him live with the consequences. HIs wife is widowed, their child turning to serial murder as a coping mechanism. Their brother, in the military, is forced to send money back from his stipend, dashing his hopes of saving up enough to open a (mountain) cat cafe in Solitude. Meanwhile, the daughter ends up joining the Dark Brotherhood as a nascent member, and takes to killing like a fish to water, fully utilizing her deceitful innocence to assassinate Jarl Balgruf by befriending their son as an in to the keep, murdering them in their sleep while everyone is none the wiser. The ensuing inheritance crisis and civil war between the two warring factions of Whiterun draws troops away from defending the small towns and villages, ending in Riverwood getting razed to the ground by a dragon, nearly ending the quest NPC there. And thus is how, by accidentally clocking a random stranger, they caused the most polarizing political assassination in Skyrim history and potentially cutting off access to The Blades.

"I've never modded Skyrim before" Proceeds to create an intricate mod in a game that's difficult to mod because of the weird way the game code works. Absolute legend. Edit: For those who aren't aware, Skyrim and other Bethesda games run on a proprietary engine, Bethesda's own creation engine. Most games run on open source engines like Unity and Unreal, so modding for those games is more universal. You have to learn how to mod on Bethesda's engine, and you're beholden to whatever rules they make for it. Yes, a lot of mods exist for Bethesda games. That's because they're wildly popular. No, that doesn't mean it's easy for someone new to modding with their engine.

I'm glad shindigs called this out on Twitter so I could discover it, and I hope you take off. This stuff's hilarious.

This is like dnd the game not in the baldurs gate way, but in the some drunk guys come together and do stupid bullshit way. i love this and i hope either you make more videos on it or make it possible for other skyrim streamers to use, actually hilarious

The fact npcs have minds of their own with this mod is amazing in itself.

Ive always said, the most important part of a Stream is the chat/community. Streamers cannot carry a stream 99% of the time without a funny community behind them. Much love to those viewers!

@@AeyakS I know, I didn’t realize other people were doing this. Just imagine how funny Doug’s chat would be with this mod.

Just so you know Blurbs, I showed my friend these videos and he’s never played Skyrim… He was certified crying and quotes it with me on a constant basis. I’m one step closer to getting him to actually play 😁

I’ve never watched a video of blurbs befor, but man I would watch at least 15 of these videos in one sitting without getting bored. I’ll have to pop by in chat when he does one of these sometime

Never watched a video of his, never even knew the guy existed until this randomly pops up on my feed. Not even 100% sure how it did, seeing as I had zero interest in skyrim. So glad it did though. Honestly I think Sammy the moon weed dealer beats out even the lore of stair guy, for my favourite thing.
