This is literally the first iterations of this technology and it already makes me feel like I am ancient. We joked about holograms and shit being the norm when we are old but I fear it will be things much more incomprehensible to us.
@theusher28933 ай бұрын
Nah. Its novelty will peak once the strict limits of its practicality are fully realized, and that's pretty soon. This era is like the era just after powered flight was achieved; people kept trying different aerodynamic designs for a decade before realizing that there's only one really useful configuration for the technology.
@noahsylvester17543 ай бұрын
@@theusher2893 no offense but that sounds like some major coping on your end we went from barely comprehensible images a year and a half ago to almost fully comprehensible, moving pictures with shapes that remain coherent most of the way through, we're not even toe-deep into its potential, if we can keep working on this without some angry puritans shutting off the door to progress then who knows where this'll be in 5 years, or 10, it certainly won't stop evolving any time soon

@@furosukki1301 it's not that far off. You can do Stable Diffusion 1.5 img2img in "real time" already, just not in the resolutions needed for this.
