THANK YOU, all I needed was where to go to start the quest. I’ve done it hundreds of times but always later on in the playthrough. I’m trying to platinum the game so I’ve only been going where I have to. Hence why I never got the quest. My OG playthrough on ps3 is at 97% of the trophies and I wanted to go back through and actually get the platinum after playing for so many years.

I just found this in a forum, might be worth trying: Stand outside of a building and drop the ring on the ground. Go inside the building and then turn right around and head back out. Pick the ring up off the ground and then put it on. You should now have the 'Ring of Hircine' power showing up again.

10 STEPS FOR THE 3 ITEMS (Works at 2024 Anniversary Edition) •If it works with your game too hit the like so the others know it's legit• 1. Start quest with a follower/companion 2. Kill the white Elk/Hircine 3. Go to the cave and inside the tunnel you tell your follower to stay there. 4. Go to siding/werewolf and tell him you will spare his life and together you kill the hunters 5. After the last hunter is dead don't talk to sinding so he follows you. 6. Run outside the cave and sinding will not follow you out 7. Nothing will happen, go back inside and tell sinding the last hunter is dead. 8. Go out again and Hircine will appear, don't talk to him close the dialogue window and go inside to give your Follower /companion the Cursed ring of Hircine. 9. Then again go out and speak to that stupid Elk and he will give you the normal Ring 10. Because there's no true friendship between a werewolf and his own kind go inside, kill and skin Sinding and give the skin back to ghost-sinding who is in fact Hircine...what a surprise. He will give you the armor.

If you still wanted to get the savior's hide and the ring, you first finish the quest with Sinding, then kill him for the hide, then exit the cave. it works for me

For some reason it didn't work for me while editing the vid, Hircine wasn't there after exiting - I may have had the Unofficial Patch installed though, which may have been the cause. Glad you were able to get both :)

@@theWelshWizard Either that or its just the wonders of Bethesda. I remember once when i was playing, i was trying to get the Sanguine Rose, only for the game to never bother teleporting me to Markarth after starting it. It just boils down to whether or not the game wants to actually work

Hey do you guys know if it's possible to use the Ring of Hircine AND one of the unique werewolf rings from the Frostmoon werewolf pack in Solstheim at the same time? specifically the Ring of The Hunt for me (health automatically regenerates in beast form) , because that would be really useful

It's probably possible as I believe there's a glitch that allows you to wear multiple rings or anything and it can be done by transforming into a Vampire Lord or Werewolf. So you probably can if you learn how to do that glitch.

Make sure you’re using the power that the ring grants and not Beast Form. Once you transform with the ring’s power and it expires, you’ll have to re-equip the ring and the power to transform again

Unfortunately not, you'll have to reload a previous save before the quest initiation. It's possible to get both the Ring of Hircine and the Saviors Hide: 1. firstly, help Sinding 2. claim the reward (Ring of Hircine) 3. head back inside and kill him (Savior's Hide)

@@yaboizion6995 I don't have Xbox personally but I think you click the 'Start' or 'Menu' button depending if you're on 360 or next gen. From there, I believe it's the RT button to go over to 'System' and in that menu you'll find 'Load'. Click 'Load' to see a list of all your saves and choose one that's before when you started the quest for the ring :)

Ps I also downloaded some mods which caused a little glitch but worth it. At least the Glitch was. So I'm currently taken on 4 dragons at 1 time each which is the most powerful dragon I have ever come across. It's the 1st time 2 hits from a single dragon could kill me. Even while wearing OP armor healthy damn your 400 And a Don guard ax that has been enchanted 2 more times on top of the darn garden champion Coming out to be somewhere around a 120 to 130 damage depending. Ended barely works These overgrown geckos are on steroids and they're coming for me they've been on my ass across the whole map and I had to stop running. They just keep multiplying.... If I don't make it tell my wife and daughter I love them.
