Something I would never have found out in numerous playthroughs... Even as a faithful retainer of the Empire, slaying again a rebel foe in the afterlife is a bit distasteful : especially since he no longer can cause any more harm on Nirn. That Stormcloak fellow is not even mad seeing the man who stroke him down : that is reason enough to not hold to old grudges. Things are settled between loyalists and separatists in Skyrim. I'd imagine it goes with Sithis to the void, since going to Sovngarde is already meant to be difficult. When Alduin eats a soul, it's voided from existence by his yum yum akatosh go brr powers. If you want to kill Ulfric in sovngarde, this is not a wise choice. NPCs are teleported to Valhalla when they fall into the abyss of sovngarde, which means he can live with the greatest heroes, most knowledgeable mages, and most wise monarchs of all Nords, which obviously isn't good for you information

Well, Ulfric is actually a really patriotic and honorful man. Thats why you see him in Sovngarde. If you read the dossisers in the Thalmor Embassy, they actually captured Ulfric when he was fighting for the Empire. The thalmor brainwashed him (ulfric thought he learnt this secretly, and he thinks that the thalmor dont know that he knows this) they brainwashed him and sent him free. Not really, they just allowed him to escape. And after that he thought that by fighting the empire he was fighting the thalmor. He was just blinded by rage and pride whilst a bit of logic would tell him that the thalmor would not take security of information as lightly as a captive to "hear" their secrets. Poor guy. He was just fooled and used.

Went back and played Skyrim recently, I was totally shocked at the rampant racism and selfishness Ulfric presented. Oh, I've dealt with him alright. All daedric princes got a hold on his soul, at least 5 times each. Not to mention how he was shouted apart by the three nord heroes. Fitting reward for someone who murdered the High King, plunged Skyrim into chaos and also used his unrelenting force shout to keep me pinned to the ground for 15 minutes straight. Overall, Ulfric sure helped me gain a few levels and perk increases in Sneak and One Handed. 👌

@@darkseid52gaming yet you'll kill the honorable Ulfric (twice no less) in Sovengarde? He legally challenged Toryg and won and the fact he's in Sovengarde proves he's honorable. Ulfric deserves to rule not Elisif, he desires an independent Skyrim free of the Empire and Thalmor making Talos worship legal again. the Empire betrayed Skyrim just like they did Hammerfell which is independent and free of the Dominion with they're own effort.

@@darkseid52gaming Even though i am a pro imperial i don't think he deserve this much of a punishment.What happened on Mundus must stay in Mundus. Even though i don't agree with Ulfric he died a honorable death by fighting to his death instead of surrendering and having a cowards death by headsmen's axe thus granting him afterlife in Sovngarde just like how Rikke died during Stormcloak final siege and granted access to Sovngarde. By killing either Ulfric or Rikke in Sovngarde only makes you as bad as Alduin or petty as Delphine.
