My headcannon for why D0G always knows where Alyx is, is because Eli put a tracking chip in Alyx--likely implanted under her skin--that only D0G is able to pick up on. Since the robot was meant to protect his daughter, it makes sense that Eli would go to such precautions to make sure that D0G would always be able to find her.

Winter rain and chill winds outside, and you are inside the warm blanket watching half life lore of skyrion while wishing you are transported in the labs and century where this story would occur to solve teleportation and travel beyond the stars. I keep reading and researching with greater passion the science of artificial intelligence, quantum physics and in the background of my mind is the beautiful story and characters of half life. Never felt this type of Connection with any other art or literature.

Valve just continued the story of Half Life through Half Life Alyx and basically red conned ( or maybe this was their plan and story all along ) the ending of HL ep 3. After so many years we got a continuation of the story, brief as it was, no way they are not seeing this through.

I do not think Gman allowed himself to get captured as a test. I think the Combine actually ambushed and captured him against his will, he just happened to be impressed that Alyx was able to release him The reason he seemed so calm about the whole thing is because he isn't human - he doesn't have regular human emotions

Do think that HL:3 should be the finale or we do deserve more especially after more than a decade and half? I just want your mere thoughts without referring to Epistle 3.

I would say that Episode 3 would have pushed the story forward, and then Half-Life 3 many have been the conclusion. I think I am one in the minority that liked Epistle 3 and I cannot help but think about it when I think of a future storyline. Half-Life: Alyx set up something really interesting in which Alyx is an agent of the G-Man. Gordon is no longer under the protection of him. I do hope we get some sort of conclusion. I don't know what I would want that to be though. The fall of The Combine, a timeloop, or maybe a moment in which Gordon becomes the G-Man. If done correctly, all three could be great. We just have to wait for Valve really. I think if I really thought about it, I could maybe come up with something that'd be interesting.
