So I assume he was faced with similar stuff I've gone through. Anyway, I can agree on the change of the ego of a driver. Fame is a bitch because you can't just live in a flat of an average city because people will come around or worse paparazzis. Famous people will eventually move to a quieter location and there are, most of the times, just other famous people.

Seb made some all out mistakes and bad judgement calls scattered throughout the season but he probably still could have been a contender had Ferrari not completely lost their pace in the later half of the season and used the wrong tyre strategies.

There's one interesting difference I picked up between Hamilton and Seb. Lewis is all about being proud of the Hamilton name always being remembered in F1 and the thought of kids one day wanting to be like him, as he was with Senna. Seb is the opposite. He wants to do what he can while he is here in F1 and then move on. I'm not saying he doesn't take pride in his achievements, but he clearly doesn't think of them or himself in the same was as Lewis... I like that. Two greats, very much the same and yet very different.

@@oftengone yea Alonso threw away his two chances for the title drove Ferrari to a midfield team complained like usual and left and made himself look like a victim when he could have won 2010 and 2012 easily due to sebs poor reliability but couldn't overtake a slower Renault and crashed out in the dry in suzuka in 2012. That's my problem with fernando. Amazing driver by no means better than Seb or Lewis though. He got beat by Lewis in his debut season and he only tied on pants due to team politics and blackmailing Dennis. Seb while having an awesome car in 2011 and 2013, had a somewhat equal in 2010 and 2012 becuase of reliability lack of engine power, which Ferrari had both, and though that Ferrari understeered Alonso loves understeer so perfect for him, explains why he dominated Massa the way he did. And Seb was down, won 4 races in a row drove pit to podium and last to sixth to win the title in 2012 and Fernando cracked under the pressure.

But they were too much focused on having more power and straight line speed than Mercedes. It hurt the balance and that's a big disadvantage now that the Pirelli tyres are completely made to favor Mercedes. Who were sandbagging completely. Ferrari only were realistically faster in Bahrain so far. If they become competitive the FIA probably will intervene to stop their innovation because FIA = Federation Internationale AMG

People hate him and write him off too soon but they don't know how great of a guy he is. His skill should not be doubted, he's mentally stronger than most think and he'll never give up. I'm Dutch but I don't want him to end up behind Verstappen. Never been fan of the kid even though his abilities are impressive.

Ferrari need to give Seb, a competitive car, as of in the beginning of last season. He is the best Driver at Ferrari for now, but he needs the car to race against Mercedes. Until now, this season was so boring to watch, and really disappointing for Ferrari. They have to get that pace for the Battle against Merc, and Lewis

They could've gotten that title in 2017, but damn when it counts Ferrari bottles EVERYTHING. They never learn. They've focused too much on power , striaght line speed. In 2017 they had the best chassis. In 2018 it was useless and that's why Vettel spun so much. In 2019 same mistake and dropping Arrivabene was a bad decision, also, Marchionne's death affected them. He'd have a fair chance to win had he not have suffered unreliability in Malaysia and Japan, both races he could have won, Ferrari was competitive and Lewis wouldve scored LESS points. Even with the mega loss in Singapore he'd still could've grabbed that title had Ferrari not had a faultyh sparkplug or turbo pressure loss.

@@Firemarioflower For 2017's car the reason it lacked top speed because that the whole package generated excess downforce and in 2018 they improved that problem. But it becomes too stiff that always understeer in corners. But in the middle of the season their entire new battery mode is so superior than mercedes which render them so much acceleration out of corners (like Canadian GP and Hockenheim), but FIA banned it in Singapore. And at the start of 2018 season, they haven't found a proper diffuser so in Australian GP they compromised the front wing to generate less downforce to balance the car. And 2019 is a whole new problem that related to the original design of the car as being too sensitive.

I"m a huge fan. * he has an artistic side, didn't he and still does he not design his own helmets? * he is modest , he often appears in the paddock wearing jeans * is a proper petrolhead and is still excited with driving 'regular' supercars even though they must feel superslow to him compared to his F1 car * has a gorgeous and super sweet German wife, he's been loyal to her for years * is a dad and his family means a lot to him * he does like looking at sexy women, he thinks the grid girl ban is a shitty idea * is nice to everyone and very often has a chat with rookies who enter their first race * loves making great jokes with just about everyone * is even nice to his rivals , for example defended Hamilton in Bahrain from a reporter who asked ridiculous questions * is good friends with Pascal Wehrlein and Kimi Raikkönen * is proud of his country, so a proper nationalist * he gives sexy girl names to his F1 cars * is very skilled in several languages * knows what team spirit is just like his hero Schumacher (next to being a hard-ass racing driver who also goes for his own success, which is normal) * isn't afraid of anyone and dares to battle crazy kamikaze pilots like Verstappen * has great technological insight like Schumi and Ferrari should give him more freedom in that department damnit

I used to be Schumacher fan and after that Massa for a while and then Vettel came. I'm actually Dutch but I don't like Verstappen at all allthough i acknowledge his talent, but he has a big ego like Hamilton. Don't mention it! I feel like I need to highlight Vettel's positive things because INDEED he gets a lot of hate he doesn't deserve, there's so many lies going on about him and people write him off and think LeClerc will beat him (DREAM ON I"D SAY!!!) I believe in his skills and his attitude towards life (from my point of view) is excellent. In the social media period, i find myself losing time checking messages and news that don't offer me anything, they don't provide me with the kind of things that are useful for my life. I am starting a program so i can eventually quit and enjoy life in its finest form. He is a great driver- and i am not even a Ferrari fan. When his team gave him the tools to fight he showed that can beat Hamilton. If he gains the championship one day with Ferrari, i would be really satisfied. World class and hard working, funny and mature, Sebastian Vettel is the kind of guy who should be a role model for any type of life you visualize and any type of goal you want to achieve. Hope he gets it. Surely he deserves it.
