Yes! Man U are just a joke now. All that hard work and history making trophy winning years of Sir Alex is a long distance memory. It’s history repeating itself, the same happened after Sir Matt. It took another 26 yrs to get back where they were winning titles again and it could take that time again! It’s already been 11 yrs since the last Prem title. This also happened to Liverpool, it took us 30 yrs to win a title again! This is football and It can be a cruel game sometimes, but when you win it’s so sweet and this is why we all love the game.

Being able to change tactics in the middle of a game is where Ten Hag falls short. Saw it with Brighton when he took off United's creative players and let Brighton back in. Saw it today when Liverpool were pinned back in the first 15 minutes, Slot changed it and emphasised a high press on Casemiro. It worked. Ten Hag's response? To bring Casemiro off, Collyer ON. As it’s the same team of players from last year that challenged until March, despite horrendous injuries. Same changing room & culture of title winners & high standards - which they manage very strictly themselves. So I think it’s a fair point that there’s a big gap. As United have to make up a lot of ground & Slot would have to be a disaster to drop Liv down to where United are trying to build back up from. Maybe both things will happen. Ten Hag has a very specific system which requires very specific players. The problem until now is he's been too stubborn to adapt when he didn't have those players. Watch four four two video on Man Utd's formation problems. Once you by pass their midfield (which is VERY easy) they have such a gap that you can run riot on goal. Now the formation isn't the problem but the players playing in that formation. The midfield pushes so high that leaves the CB with too much space. Or your DM can't move quick enough to capture those who get past which is what we see with Casemiro. His legs are gone. But I am not willing to put so much pressure on Ugarte.
