Great channel! Question I have a skytron 6500 elite (battery operating) table that's down. No movement or motor sounds when you use the remote or manual controls, just a click noise from relay box?

Hi Justin, nice one. Did you use solder with lead or lead-free solder, because those solderings look very shiny ?

This is probably leaded solder.

@@BetterBiomedChannel , nothing can beat leaded solder. More reliable in the long term and easy to use. Here in Belgium there are not that many distributors that still sell leaded solder. So i have taken precautions, and order a rol of 0,5kg each time i order components.

I use leaded whenever possible and I have gotten into arguments over leaded solder reliability vs silver. I find fewer cold solder joints and cracks in leaded joints vs silver.

@@BetterBiomedChannel , and in the long term, minor risks for "Tin whiskers". Since 2006, allmost each major brand of notebooks is start using leadfree solder. After 3a5 years of heavy use and minor service or no dust removing at all, they start failing with black screens. Reheating the VGA chip can resolve the issue temporary, but it's not a reliable fix.
