Brooklyn stand up...Skyzoo (crow heights) Talib (Flatbush) Spike Lee (Fort Green), couple reasons I appreciate this track, spike lee being my favorite film director and documentarian is one of them, the fact that I'm from Brooklyn is another, but the recognition these two artist are giving Spike is my main reason... This song is a great example of composition. These two artists ,Skyzoo and Talib Kweli, feed off of each other so well, I'm surprized they aren't doing the next Black Star. One album together, make it an instant classic, and do the proverbial parting of ways afterwards. Skyzoo, in my eyes, has a very unique and poetic style about his lyricism and swave, smooth delivery. Talib Kweli with his rapid-fire approach and uniquely rough-like voice compliment each other very well.
