SL_C Number 13 finished

Here's SL-C number 13 finished and ready to head to its new owner. It is painted in a tri-coat Ithaca Verde, has custom intakes on the front and rear of the car, a race built engine, Graziano trans-axle, carbon fiber interior and more than enough hp to get it over 200mph.

Two part question Mr. Zakari. I saw the push button start, is there a key? Second, is this car rain proof? Didn't notice any door seals. The car is beautiful by the way, well done.

+Green Gator No key but there is a key fob that locks the entire electrical system so that nothing can operate. Yes it is rain proof, the door seals are on the doors themselves.

No doubt there of a thoroughbred background, and amazing road/track cars, The sl-c superlite convertible on the other hand seems much more modern with regards to style and the performance to match. Thanks, the SLC now has an excellent manual, WIKI page and build videos. I always encourage anyone with interest in building a car to go for it. I know of at least 2 guys who never even worked on cars that are having successful builds.

RAINO Theoretically, you could, but it's not worth it. Since the SL-C was specifically designed to be fitted with a manual transmission, it will be extremely difficult & costly to modify it such that it will accept an automatic.

AutoRingMagazine Yes, he's done a great job on his GTM. I was one of the first builders of a GTM in 2007. It was hard for me to let the GTM go but the SL-C has consumed all my time now.

zakari3030 Which one do you prefer, and why? I have a plan and a vision for the GTM that will raise the roof for more head clearance.

AutoRingMagazine I loved my GTM, that said the SL-C is engineered so much better with all new custom suspension and a solid frame. The body fits almost perfectly as it is and the build time is about 350 hours including paint. The ride is much better, the handling superior and there is a lot more room in the engine bay to work on and install things back there. No rivets either. I have nothing bad to say about the GTM, but the SL-C is just better, except that the windows don't roll down.
