Imran bhai is making very good point, that change only requires people's acceptance and convincing some people of power. As Musab bin Umair ra did tableegh in madina before Prophet's pbuh arrival and made them accept the leadership of Prophet pbuh and afterward= by convincing two leaders of Aws and Khzaraj people truly accepted Prohpet saw as their leader.
