Well my friend, there's not much I can say that you haven't already heard. I'm sure you've heard it all before. Flying is the safest form of travel, etc. I won't make you read through stuff you've heard hundreds of times before. I'll just say that I hope by watching my videos, and seeing how the process works from start to finish, will help ease your fears. A lot of people have commented on my videos, saying how they have helped them with similar feelings. If you do have any specific questions about flying, specific situations, or anything really, just let me know and I'l be happy to help answer them.

That's a very nice looking Airbus A330 there. It's one of my favorite aircraft. My Delta Airlines flight from Houston to Detroit is using an Airbus aircraft too, but it's the narrow body A319 type.

Well, that depends on a lot of factors to be honest. Like what kind of advice you're looking for, and more importantly who you're flying on. The airline operating the flight can change a lot of "advice" I give haha.

Skylight...do you travel with someone in the seat next to you or do you manage to keep it open to do your productions?
@sla312 жыл бұрын
I travel by myself, and the only way the seat next to me is empty, is if I get lucky. 9 times out of 10 I have someone that I have never met next to me. When I’m on the plane I always wear over ear headphones. Even if I’m not listening to anything. This is a clear signal to the person next to me that I’m not interested in talking haha. I’m not trying to be rude, but me talking the whole time could ruin the video.

So it was a 2-4-2 cabin configuration? That's less common I think than a 2-3-2 (on a 767) or a 3-3-3 (on a 777).
@brandonswan46002 жыл бұрын
Yeah, Airbus widebodies (A300's, A310's, A330's and A340's) typically, and historically for the older planes, do a 2-4-2 config. in coach. The A350 is a little wider so I believe 3-3-3 is a typical coach layout for that aircraft, much like the 787. 777's, as you eluded to above, often have a 3-4-3 coach configuration. I do like the 2-3-2 layouts on the 767's.
@sergiolaurencio75342 жыл бұрын
@@brandonswan4600 the 787 was made for 2-4-2 but I guess it got late, airlines one something more profitable, etc. At the end, it wasen;t put the way it was supposed to be
@sla312 жыл бұрын
Some others have already elaborated on some of this, so I won’t repeat it, but keep on mind the A330 has a 20 inch wider cabin than the 767 too. This allows for the extra seat. Personally I prefer the 2-3 or 2-4-2 seating options. One less person to have to get past to use the bathroom when you always pick windows like me haha. Thanks for watching!

Curious about something...if this was a domestic flight, why did the flight dock at the international terminal? "S" gates are all international flights, right? Awesome video!! Thank you!
@brandonswan46002 жыл бұрын
It's also the Delta Terminal, or one of the Delta terminals. They use it for both domestic and international flights. I think Hawaiian goes out of South Satellite, too - at least they used to. Delta seems to be spread between South Satellite, Concourse A, and Concourse B. When the new IAF (International Arrivals Facility) opens this year, Concourse A is supposed to be able to receive international arrivals, too. That should help alleviate some of the congestion at South Satellite.
@sla312 жыл бұрын
Although the south gates are used by the international carriers, they’re also used as overflow or extra gates for Delta, Hawaiian, Alaska, and American. At least those are the carriers I’ve seen there operating domestic flights. I’ve actually flown in and out of the S gates several times recently on domestic flights.

Worst airline I ever fly with. Missed connection ( also Delta) Overnight wait at the airport , because they did not provide accommodation . Lost our baggage , had to wait for them for 2 days . Three out of four baggage been badly damaged . No way one could make a claim on their website .

Well, I'm sorry you had a bad experience. That said, I don't work for or represent Delta in any way. I just take their flights and post them for enthusiasts to watch. That said, every airline has their bad days, and generally Delta is regarded as one of the better US airlines. I fly a lot, and I've never had any major problems with Delta. So, I'm sorry you had that issue, maybe it was a fluke. Thanks for watching!

@Skylite Productions, To make improvements, There are some people who aren't willing to watch the 4 to 5 hours and I didn't watch the Island Hopper video because the video is too long. Would you mind making the videos shorter? Because if you cannot do that, Then I may have to unsubscribe and will find another channel to watch. Because I only seen Takeoffs and Landings that are good amount of time but the Full Flight Videos are too long. I'm afraid that I won't watch this video either because same reason. I don't make videos that is longer than 30 minutes maybe the exception 45 minutes.

@williamowens55422 жыл бұрын
Wha...? You want Skylite to remake his videos to mimic yours? Bless your heart. Anyone who doesn't want to watch five hours can easily use the slider and skip the middle 4-1/2 hours. Skylight knows the revenue loss when we do that. I've seen lots of people complain that some of his takeoff and landing segments aren't the full flight. What's missing from the upload can't be added by the viewer, but the viewer can skip parts of a full flight as he wishes.
