Bringing the clamps to the workbench to clamp them to the workbench with other clamps is nice. Much better than using clamps to clamp the clamps to the workbench at the workbench.

Excelente proyecto muy bien desarrollado y mejor ejecutado , la tapa de la mesa dio mucho trabajo , pero el resultado final es magnífico , el pie tenía que ser rebuscado y peculiar , no valían cuatro patas normales ! , no sé si aguantará con los pocillos , la tetera y las pastas , jajaja , gracias por compartir tanta creatividad , un saludo cordial y por supuesto un gran like desde Narón , Galicia ( España) 🤓 😜

Appreciate how simple yet effective the flattening jig is. That is so crazy that the piece of wood was just waiting for you. My guess is the prior owner always had great plans for it but either lacked time or skill to make it happen. Great job!!

Table looks great. Really enjoyed watching it come together! Oh how I miss kc from time to time. Thinking of coming out there this next summer. Definitely gonna get some local pig there at the river market. Can’t wait to hit up the antique store in the west-bottoms

That is beautiful work 👍. Not sold on the stability of the base! Looks like a very small radius in comparison to the weight of the top, might be a bit tippy.

If you're going to flatten this way, paint one of the boards a dark color. Then you can sight down the length and verify that both top surfaces are parallel. See "winding sticks." Also, use a plunge router, so you can do multiple passes. It is easier on the bit, but does take longer.

Kansas City, big change from Temecula. Did you get a bigger shop in the deal? We have a Goldendoodle (Brodee) who is a nonstop fetch machine. He would only stop to (maaaybe eat) and poop if we played with him continually.
