That was some crazy editing at the beginning of the cut. Suddenly I thought you were down two or three layers. hehehehe. Another wonderful tree. Guess those would be awesome for someone who really dug river tables.

Paul get yourself a Cats Claw. Makes getting those nails out a lot easier. Also tell your Video fella he is doing a great job but we want to see more grain detail of the wood. Especially stuff like that cherry. We hardly ever see it. Ya great too see the water dripping off the end and the dust flying out of the shoot but only quarter of the slab grain run.

So I see people with sawmills spraying a lubricant into the blade during their cuts. Two questions; 1) Why not set up an automatic lube drip (like some of the WoodMizer products have, ) 2) They only ever seem to lube the top surface of the blade. Ideally should you lube both sides of the blade, and with what?

The dust seems to only really build up on the top side of the blade, I think that because its the dust being pushed onto the blade by the guide rollers. We did setup a auto drip setup but wee could never get it to work very well. Doing it manually is nice because it keeps you engaged with whats going on.

Yeah, cherry is rarely that big, and if so, is always going to have a Carpenter ant nest inside somewhere. Good new B roll in this vid. You rarely show around the place. Haven't had a vid in the shop in forever now. Still making table tops?
