1:02 Reference for people who might need it, in the movie "Inglourious Basterds" from Quentin Tarantino, during WWII, a British spy disguised as a german officer gets found out when he instinctively does the British hand sign for the number 3, instead of the German one, a mistake which is immediately noticed by the real german officer sitting in front of him. The way Ina can notice that "Real Kolechians would say 8 weeks and not 2 months" is a very similar situation

Yeah no one outside Germany and Austria use the British/ American Three (Pointing finger, Middle finger and Ring finger). They all use the Germanic Three (THUMB, Pointing finger and Middle finger)
@Gabu_14 күн бұрын
It really boggles the mind how ubiquitous the UK/US 3 symbol is, when the German 3 is simply more sensible, and I say this as someone largely unrelated to germanic cultures. The most comfortable 3, however, is pinky + ring + middle fingers up, with thumb holding the pointer finger.

Ina's just having fun with seeing the same phrase from the same country a few times in a row.
