Just being real...if I'm a doctor (and I have several in my family)...if I'm the first set of eyes to review a claim, hopefully I will read at least some of it (if not a quick skim). But, if I'm told a fancy AI system now does the first review, and it's only my job to give the "human" stamp of approval on what AI has already determined, and I'm told the AI is much "smarter" than me...the realities of a heavy workload are going to lead me to just start approving everything AI recommends. You think insurance companies won't exploit the h*ll out of AI that leads to increased denials?? They will dump millions into such technology, because it will make them tens of millions more.
