I think even from the start with Appetite, Slash has played for the song…his solos always seem to fit without it being constant runs of a thousand notes. I think it was an E. Trunk interview when 4 was released where Slash hinted at his name being dropped and going with just The Conspirators…mentioned how he viewed that as being just a band without him being named separately. I, for one, would definitely welcome him with just staying with Myles, Todd Dammit, Frank and Fitzy. Saw them on the 4 tour and it was just an awesome rock show.

Right? At first I thought it might be the same riff but played backwards or something, because I know Slash sometimes does that - just take a riff he likes and reverse it. But I've played both and it doesn't seem to be the case. They just got the same vibe, as you said.

This is one of the GREATEST concerts I’ve ever seen!! They are incredible performers and top notch #1 most 1:29 humble bands.. I’ve had the most amazing times with Todd Kerns and his friends at Count’s Vamp’d Bar here in Vegas, for some absolutely wonderful music and even better musicians from all over the spectrum!! Slash is outrageously good. I think it should also be noted that every player in the band is top notch. Slash is like the gatekeeper of rock and roll. Without his contributions rock music could have taken some ugly turns more than once. He saved us from glam rock and brought as back from grunge.
