1994 Honda Accord change the Valve Cover Gasket - (93 94 95 96 97)

It’s a great and very explained video. I’ll give it a shot for 94 coupe first time. It’s leaking oil on the corner close to the time belt area. It’s gets worse when I drive on the freeways, on street or just parked it leaks very little. Hopefully this cover gasket will solve the issue. Thanks for your help and wish me luck guys of the diy world. 😅

yea, the Valve Cover Gasket isn't that bad! We actually replaced the Spark plug seals as well, but didn't get all the video

@@MyLooneyBin i replaced the valve cover gasket and it’s still leaking man. Looks like it’s coming. Underneath that, between the engine head and the rest. Is it that part where the head gasket goes? If so, how complicated is that to do by myself?

The white bottles of permatex form a gasket works great for holding gaskets in place as well

yea, I never ended up making the video, I think if you take off the valve cover and then take out the springs they are easily accessible.

First and foremost, ALWAYS use a genuine HONDA gasket with these valve covers. Trust me, you won't go wrong. The Honda gaskets have little divets in them which hole them in place in the valve cover, so you don't have to use any adhesive. Best of all they are cheap (like $11) and they seal really well. Trust me guys, I have used other aftermarket gaskets and none of them are as good or easy to use as a Honda gasket.

No, not just the valve cover. Shouldn't be that high. But you definitely can.

Let me tell you what I saw, as far as I know there are no bolts holding the valve cover on . Didn't see that part

yea, this was a tough video, because we really did so much more, we replaced the upper and lower spark plug seals, but just didn't get the best footage and my camera messed up ... if I do it again, I will probably re do the video ... hope you got some use out of it thanks

You don’t know what you are doing you are not supposed to use sealant on these Honda motors in the channels of the valve cover ; you put sealant on those four square corners just a dab on each one other side of the cam on top of the rubber but that’s it ; after you did this the cover most likely leaked
