🇬🇪 We had travelled up through the hills on an old bus to reach the town go Chiatura which was famous for its Soviet cable cars, something I had always wanted to do. But when we got there we found out some bad news. So instead we went out for a wander around town to meet some locals.

I went to Georgia with my Georgian friend. They sure know how to drink over there.. His dad told me that back in the days of the USSR, they traveled to Prague with a business delegation and they emptied a restaurants wine cellar. The restaurant had to get bottles from the place across the street :D I had a few dinners with his family and boy.. the toasting is taken seriously, I got instructions though and wasn't a total embarrassment. They had some 'black wine', which is apparently good for the health, but shouldn't be taken in abundance. Any idea what that might've been? I also remember the homemade 'cognac', which was incredibly strong, but super pure.. apparently filtered with ashes and milk to take out all the impurities. Great stuff :)

It comes from animals like wild boars that have tusks that they use to dig around in the ground for food. Rooting around comes from maybe the roots of plants that are in the ground, or from route which is the path that you are traveling on. So to route around is to use different paths to go traveling down, aka exploring.

At first, I indeed started to watch your videos to improve my English, mate. But then I realized you have been doing really well so I can't help watching your videos. Like you, I too am keen on old Soviet countries and most of them are near my homeland. I have been to Ukraine once and I was mesmerized. When I get some money, I will follow your way :) Please do not stop filming these videos, I think all of them are precious. Lots of love to you and Alina

You probably won't read this because of the sheer traffic on your channel. I started following you when you had 17,000 followers. As a Brit I love the fact you can speak the language, normally we all have to just stand and smile and hope everyone is on the same page. Love the fact you take the mik on how crap your content can be but I can't think of anything better than tacking a taxi ride around a block 5 times haha. Take care on your travels all the best my friend.
