A small thing, but I LOVE the audio-mixing on this episode MUCH more than some of your earlier videos. It strikes a FAR cleaner balance between music, shop-noise, and voice-over. Very well done! I had suggested something like that earlier, and I'm really happy to see that you guys decided that was a good idea. I AGREE!!! I felt that Blackbeard cheaped out on the wood. His file work and the laminate on the inside of the scales was a nice accent but his pins were boring (and too many) and the wood was a really plain choice, just uninspiring.
@c.a.mcdivitt9722
@c.a.mcdivitt9722 5 жыл бұрын
@@YourPlanetIsAToilet The main thing I noticed was that he just randomly anealed part of the handle (presumably to save the hassle of drilling tempered steel) which caused a lot of thermal stress on the blade, which can't be releaved without completely redoing the temper. Also, putting epoxy in the center of the pins kinda ruins them, since it means you can't rivet the ends to tighten the handle. It was a beautiful looking handle, but there's a good chance the wood will work loose, or just have the blade break completely off.

So basically Ilya saw some "Life of Boris" videos and thought that was a great idea to speak that way. Okay, man. That's definitely a choice.

The company that owned AWE Me, who in turn, produced Man At Arms, went bankrupt apparently. That's why they haven't posted anything for months. Best to unsub from AWE Me as you'll prolly not be seeing much else from them.
