Those have counters in the game and require a lot more cards/relics to function properly on higher ascensions. You literally just need 2+ flame wards and burn to gain infinite armor every turn. As someone with hundreds of hours in slay the spire you can clearly say that its broken. @@XIIIBobb

the Packmaster mod is infinite content, you draft and choose between a TON of different card packs made by different mod authors and each run is super distinct. Oh by the way, one of the packs is literally just gul'dan from hearthstone and it's one of the most fun ones (so many imps)

Hi Rarran, quick tip : When you're looking at the map you hover on an icon on the right of the screen (like Elite/Merchant/treasure....) and it will highlight those icons on the map. For example, if you hover above the Elite icon, It allows you to see immediately where are all the elite on your floor. Love the content !

Rarran, if you have the map open and hover the mouse over a specific icon n the Legend on the right (Treasure, Elite etc.) then the respective icon will be highlighted on the map. Makes life much easier when planning your path.

the hearth can absolutely roll you if you don't expect it but it's pretty chill when you know what it can do, time-eater has given me much more trouble since I love going for ridiculously spammy decks that deal tiny damage (shiiiiivs)

@@neilu7132 actually decks that can play 12 cards per turn consistently should easily clear time eater. it's when you can't consistently do your combos and deal damage that you lose to it. try to take scaling more scaling damage which for shiv decks would be accuracy. if your cards in hand are running out try to take discard synergies with the acrobatics card. if you can't deal with the heart in shivs try looking for afterimage. or even better, try looking for the best card silent has and possibly the best card in the game, wraith form. 2 (3 upgraded) turns of intangible is really good and should let you kill the heart without having to defend at all once upgraded. sorry for the long reply.

Deep Freeze is literally just Time Warp. You make all enemies lose their turn (unless they have artifact) And unlike the Watchers Vault (which costs 3 and ends both your turn and the enemy turn immediatly), you can still do things afterwards.

The wording on a Flame Ward is dubious. It should say: Gain block equal to burning applied, because in current situation you should get only 1 block every time you apply 1 burn (which makes no sense obviously, but that is how English works)

Btw as a slay the spire player, the spire is not what you slayed. The spire is a boss you unlock after beating the Act 3 boss with the 3 classes Ironclad, Silent and Defect. Then on another run, you must collect 3 key shards from a Rest point, a Chest and a buffed Elite(indicated with fire) and beat the Act 3 boss to attempt to fight the spire.

In response to Rarran's comments about his skill and especially his comment about how he plays too fast and he will never get past it, I just want to say that one things that I love about you is that you can actually see your weaknesses and improve on them. So many creators (and people in general) just don't improve and many of them don't even realize that they can/should improve and it has driven me away from so many creators who I would otherwise enjoy.
