Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that at 10:55, when Egg says that removing doubt will lower his score by not having a curse in the deck, that only affects score when you have 5 or more curses. I'm pretty sure there is no benefit to score from having 4 or less.

It could make a difference by having him reach 35 cards for the librarian bonus but any card would work for it, not just a curse

imo: Easiest way to reach a high score during deckbuilding: Unless you have something that makes amassing cards different (Collector, Vintage): Try to take one card from everything, but never rares or duplicates. Encyclopedian, Highlander and Pauper (50 cards, no rares or duplicates) are 200 points by themselfes. Curses are difficult, cause you really don't wanna end up with 4 curses, as it's 0 points but quite the chance to ruin some perfects. Best to gauge the number of ?-events remaining when offered a curse. Also a reason why Calling Bell is damn good for scoring. (Closer to Shiny and Cursed!) Similarly, prioritizing ?-Rooms is often beneficial, because Shiny/Cursed/general upsides, but every ?-Room over combat is 2 points lost (as each enemy slain gives 2 points). Usually I do make way more + through them than I lose through missing combat.

it may have mattered in the past but for the past year at the very least any card that deals damage to you does not count as enemy damage and therefore does not ruin perfects

Great daily, gotta say, while I completely understand not having the reflex of "Oh Strike is better than Anger now because of the Relic" I died a little each time he used Double Tap on an Anger instead of a Strike

The correct way to play this was taking Reaper early to gather health to hit every possible elite on the first floor. Frozen Egg led to upgraded Barricade led to Bottled Tornado to get lots of perfects. I took Apparitions to guarantee building enough block early even though it probably cost me score for high health. You have to take Philosopher's Stone over Busted Crown because 4x offering/reaper/immolate was easy if you have a choice.

TBF the full anger+exhaust deck would work too, and would probably rely less on powers (and end up in 1st turn kill more often)
