daaamn, saw them 2 times with this lineup, Abyss tour and that very year 2006...the thing about lombardos crazy groove taste is that he doesnt lay back when doublehitting the bassdrum, instead he does accelerate the speed even more and gives a shit load of energy into the song...THATS what so many metaldrummers lack of, just lots of "on time zombies"...

Kind of like Paul Bostaph? Lol when you say on time zombie drummers.. Paul literally has no groove like Lombardo, and literally just played like a robot, same boring ass fills on every song absolutely no improvisation like Lombardo. Paul was good on divine intervention, but his last stint with slayer from 2013 until the band's ending he was absolutely boring live.
