I saw them about 6-7 times between 1996 and 2011. Last show I saw them at was Hanneman's last performance at the Big 4, Indio, CA. I refused to see them live after that. Hanneman was a god. Gary is great but he belongs in Exodus imo. Slayer died when Hanneman did.

I've been to so many Slayer shows where Tom forgets some of the lyrics, or at least the order of them. I'm just glad that every time I saw them I got the privilege to see them with Dave. Paul Bostoph is ok, but Dave is a fuc*king phenom!!! R.I.P. Jeff Hahnemann!

@Mehtallica Foever Maybe according to you but EVERY drummer in the genre says that Dave fu#king Lombardo is the best drummer on the planet, Lars 'exact words in one interview about a year after he was a no show for that download festival and Dave filled in for him on 2 or 3 songs when Metallica performed Lars was actually scared after he found out that Dave filled in. And in an interview with Slayer they thought they were going to lose Dave. Tom and the gang still treated him like shit the whole time he was in the band. And the record label and management as well.
@williamreilly4786
@williamreilly4786 2 жыл бұрын
@MehtallikA ForevA ok but I'm just quoting Lars. And Lars has regressed as a drummer since his 40 years with Metallica. He might be a good business man but he's a shitty drummer and I couldn't care less if there was no Metallica anymore. They're all mediocre at best. Dave Lombardo still plays like a beast. Charlie still plays like a fun*king beast. No progression, you don't know what the hell you are talking about!! Dave rules, Lars drools!! 😆😆😆
