Never saw Phil with Pantera. I have seen him twice with Down and he was actually great. Saw Him once with the Illegals and they were fantastic too, played some Panteraa tunes and smashed them of course but Phil was better with Down, purely because they played their music as a team, a proper band. They walked out and owned the stage and the crowd from the first minute til the last. Both times it was a real pleasure to watch them do what they do best. On top of that, there's the fact that they played Bury Me In Smoke and it is an absolute weapon of a song. Phil has always been a controversial figure but as a frontman there aren't many who can beat his energy.

@Andrea Serblin I guess you dont know what we are talking about here. We talking about voice, energy, and leading frontman, best charisma etc. The kind of singer that has something special. The singer from disturbed has a good voice, but thats it. I can think of other names before I even think about disturbed singer. Only metal tho. Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford are just a couple of examples. Obviously there was better front man in other classic rock groups like Freddy Mercury. You get the point. But we are talking metal. And that disturbed guy is good he may even have better vocals than Phill, but Phills energy surpasses alot of singers. He turns up the 🥳
