You guys look like you are having a blast. I’m working on starting an adventure ministry at Countryside in Keizer. Only one problem, I can’t seem to catch a single fish off the jetty, haha. Might need to connect with you sometime to teach me how to fish, so we can catch and keep some guys excited about church. Great video!

@@davidmalone4017 9-11' medium action spinning surf rod. 30-50 lb braid. Sometimes I use a mono bumper 30lb at the lightest. Tied directly to the 1oz jig and swim bait.

Howdy. Thank you for the offer. I'm not really fond of Walleye but thanks for the offer. I prefer ocean fish, salmon, and steelhead. As far as fishing goes, just watch the series of jetty videos I have on my channel. I show you how to fish with bait (sand shrimp) and how to fish with jigs of various sizes, but my go to is 1oz jig and 4oz swim bait. If you practice these methods and stay at it you will catch fish. I'll be camping at barview jetty campground in a few weeks so i'm going to order the lures and scent that you used and hopefully i can catch something. Haha i'd be happy to catch just about anything. @@carlpaquette4687 you can catch fish there. Using the jig methods works but if you can't get the rhythm down then switch to sand shrimp at the bottom and you'll be guaranteed greenling and perch.
