@@SlayXc2 well it does more ticks of damage a whopping 15 ticks so i understand why it fires every 2.5 seconds. also since you aren't firing the laser from your eyes(not interacting with your tears) it doesn't reduce damage from Ipecac(which brimstone does), so essentially you have a brim laser that does 15 ticks of 43.5 damage with every tick, without counting the damage from the exposives from ipecac the laser deals 652.5 damage total, and before you charge it you can shoot your ipecac tears aswell which would add to the total damage.

@@tintengold9757 no. Your real damage stat is tracked in the background and Rock Bottom will always give you the highest total that you ever reached. Going out of the transformation will decrease your damage stat in the background. You will basically just jump back and forth between base stats and babylon stats.

Death Certificate is by definition the best item that will ever exist, because if there were a hypothetical better item then Death Certificate would be that item plus a bunch of free pickups. Special mention goes to the Tainted Apollyon synergy, because using Abyss won't take you out of the area and getting a dozen extra locusts would still be insane even if it did.

Just got Revelation in my Maggy run (Game kid carried me through most of the basement, dross, mines and ash pit) A holy Brimstone that lets you defend yourself while charging and have a lot of its syncs is one of the reasons you put up with Bethany until you beat Mother as her. Edit since I finished that run, got Godhead on top of that. So a revelations that got buffed by sacred heart + a sacred heart that got buffed by godhead= GG run. The fact that revelations does not override your current tears is one of the many things it has over old Brimstone.

R Key and Psy Fly are some of my favourite items, despite having only obtained the former once. It was during a run where my goal was The Lamb. I had made it to Sheol and decided to check the Secret Rooms, it was there, and I knew it meant security for if I fail either boss. I literally almost died during Satan, being on half a heart, so I warped out of the room and went back to the first floor. That run lasted a long time, and I ended up doing 3 victory laps, the third of which I used my Judas’ Shadow and just won. The tears changed like 6 different times too.

I swear Revelation is the most "Angel item-y" Angel item I've ever seen, it's like "we can't JUST give you a stupidly strong laser that's stronger than old Brimdstone, it also gets to go alongside your other tears, be able to shoot diagonally, pierce though blindfolds, as well as flight and a few soul hearts for good measure." It's like how Sacred Heart, on top of just...BEING Sacred Heart, also gives you a health up and fully heals you for no good reason.

Just trying to help out, but at 2:44, it's "then". Common mistake. "than" is used when saying "this item is better than that item". "Then" is used when saying "if this doesn't convince you, then nothing will." At 5:49, it's too* late. Like I said, just trying to help.

just a reminder that using death certificate will only spawn all the items you have unlocked, not all items in the game. this is important if you get it earlier either using metronome or just by getting it with the debug console
