The first diwhy is actually, like, a thing. But the video portrayed it very badly. If your wood is wet or it just keeps going out, corn chips like doritos or the like will burn slowly enough that it will dry the wood and allow it to light. I tend to use ones that are stale. Saved me a few times camping! On a darker note, my uncle works in the fire department and lighting a bag of corn chips on fire, leaving it under a building, and leaving quickly is a common way to commit arson that can't easily be traced to a person. This is because when you buy a ton of gasoline, enough to burn a house down, is a noticable purchase and very few if any are being made in an area. But you buy a family size bag of doritos? No one is going to notice or make a note of that. Edit: I AM NOT RECCOMENDING ANYONE GO AND COMMIT ARSON.

So the original chips fire hack was that a single chip is a really good fire starter lacking any other kind of viable kindling (such as dry grass). You'd use wood and other field sources for the actual fire, and a chip or two to get it little because of how flammable they are. Also, I'd recommend seeing a doctor.....those solid fuel blocks are heavily toxic, and will leave behind residue on anything you burn them on that is also toxic. And you just ate that burger.....RIP slazo
