First of all, lemme get this out of the way: Song used: Sleep by My Chemical Romance Link to song: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iISkoH2Ar7uLj7s BIG shoutout to Xamag for making an animatic of the same song years ago and introducing me to the song and being an overall inspiration to this big fat project Their animatic can be found here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3LVdpuIicygars Programs used are procreate and iMovie. Now, if you haven't watched Arcane, take it from someone who has NEVER and i mean NEVER touched anything league of legends related. This show is AMAZING. It is one of the most compelling and beautiful stories I've seen in a long time. Animation is amazing, and they really didn't have to go that hard with the writing, but they did and I will be forever grateful for it. This animatic isn't perfect. In fact, after numerous failed attempts at making one, this is my FIRST animatic. There are so many things I'd like to fix. But I'm so incredibly proud of myself for sticking it out and completing this. It took me roughly one month to finish, I think I started this on December 16 or something. I really liked everything about this animatic. The line where the song goes “and I won’t apologize for what I’ve done” but she still has terrors about her actions, the mirror scene, the Fishbones scene clearly has sooo much work put into it, how her memories as Powder flashes before her eyes (I love how it looks like she knows now that she shot him, she can no longer go back to that life ever) and how it panes back to her (now Powder) exemplifying she is just been a traumatized child all long, and the euphemism that sleep is for the death. This getting too long, if wrote everything I loved about this it would turn into one of my high school essays. You just got a new subscriber, I will be watching your career with great interest :) ❤️

I love that in this animatic Jinx know's what she is about to do, she know what her choice will lead to but she can't stop, almost as if she's consuming her own anger as a substance to exist because she is so hurt, confused and alone. When she does the deed and see's the chaos which she created, i can see Jinx having a smile on her face (not laughing just her tick for nervousnes) until she as powder just accept that there is no coming back from this. The deed is done and her sister won't forgive her, and she at this point accept's her fate as Jinx.
