You are exactly right about the effects of your environment. Although this is somewhat taboo, this is even more true or at least more apparent to anyone that has ever had experience with something like psilocybe mushrooms. In those altered states, mindset and setting change everything. Walking into a new room changes absolutely everything externally and internally. Even the colors in the room change as well as the shadows. I think all of this stuff is always going on, but we just aren't as aware of it as we are in that state since we normally filter it out.

1) You mentioned being skeptical of ketogenic diets and cancer, I find that interesting. Any particular reason? Is your skepticism due to ROS and endogenous antioxidant production from the tumor? 2) Have you ever read Brain Over Binge? 3) Have you ever thought about using BCAAs to help with your neurological symptoms? I don't know if it would work the same for epilepsy, but I suffered a TBI, and I found that taking BCAAs when my protein intake was low and my fat intake was high actually stopped my headaches and migraine auras.

1) it was for many reasons, mainly learning about the work of Harry Eagle at university before my diagnosis re- glutamine feeding cancer and observations of other high grade gliomas. 2) Yes, its a good book. Thank you. 3) I have looked into this, and tested it out. It didn't help me as much as I had hoped unfortunately but I find caprylic acid helps a lot. I have damage to my cranial nerves that gets aggravated by many factors away from food.

Have you ever tried learning a musical instrument? I think sometimes your brain needs a break and I find my guitar to be a kind of flow activity. It also helps me anytime I am feeling down, my mind is moving too fast, or if I am just confused. I find that it helped me sort of fill the need for temporary happiness and at the same time it isn't harmful. I am sure many other hobbies can also provide similar benefits, so whatever might appeal to you. Writing is probably one of them and it seems like you are already doing that. I think music is a little different because it isn't bound by language and it is infinite in expression. This is especially true when you can do this without thinking about it and muscle memory takes over. It is equivalent to meditation for me. Everything slows down and I become mindful of the present. It is a healthy escape.

Andrew, I was wondering if in your research you gave any heed to ''light'' and how manmade light effects us? also how the lack of natural light makes us sick? now I'll get back to watching the rest of your video.

I wouldn't have sent you to Jack as a first call, as it took me many attempts to get a feel for how he explains things! I think you'll find there's quite a lot of fact in what he says. I'm like you I do many hours of research trying to get myself better and its working, good luck. I felt it was relevant to how you are feeling in these dark times. Oh and I've done my 15 mins this morning ;-)

As a person who's body is very sensitive, since i was a kid, i felt the effect of man made light on me. Not only that, i've always experienced the effects of almost anything that has an electrical current or signal to it. TVs, Cell phones, PCs, keyboards, mouses (wireless or not), and even high voltage car ignition systems. This will happen mostly when i've been exposed to these things for an extended amount of time; if not, they may not affect me right away. I've also realized that when i'm experiencing the effect of these things in my body, if i relax and allow these electromagnetic currents to flow in my body, they won't affect me. Though i can only do this but for a short period of time. If i was to expose myself to a wireless bluetooth earpiece or hold my cell phone on my ear for more than one hour while talking to someone, i know something real bad will happen to my brain.......i'd probably get brain damage. Last time i did it, i got so dizzy i could not stand up for almost one hour.

I don’t remember if you have mention taking potassium? From what I understand we should be taking beween 4,700 - 6,000 mg daily.

I take potassium citrate 2-3x a day.
