You will love it - we heard the refreshed model should be even more comfortable to drive, and maybe also a bit more "flat" when putting down the seats :D You can make I DIY solution, but after we bought a real mattress for our, we sleep waaaay better - It really makes a difference :D We would love if you would update us on how your adventures in the Tesla highland progresses :D

It's too hot with the sun so I tinted my roof glass, I was thinking about doing that too, now with the roof tinted I can barely see even the stars LOL!! regret it but yet it helps keeping the cabin temperature in lower degrees

Did the same in a Dacia Logan mcv2. You have to leave the car on during the night though and remove a fuse so the lights are not permanently on. I also put a sink and a container in it to have running water to be able to brush my teeth and more.

​@@TheTravelersPlanetI slept great I used Decathlon's cheapest foldable bed to fix the unevenness problem and an air mattress. My car is actually shorter than a model 3 but has a taller back side.

@@TheTravelersPlanet not yet 🤩 But been researching on the latest versions. It seems as if Tesla changed the design of the back seat around 2021-2022 where it is now much more complicated to remove the back seats 🫤

I wouldn't get the Model Y just sleep in it. I test drove it today you feel all the bumps on the road. It's not smooth. I would wait until the refresh. IK'm ordering the refresh Model 3

For us the Tesla model y is great for the needs we have. BUT! If the ID BUZZ had a longer range and better Selfdriving, we would have chosen that :)

Do you think that sleeping in my model 3 might be putting my health at risk? I removed the back seat bench. Now that I've seen that orange high voltage connector right under the seat, I'm second guessing putting down the backseats and sleeping in the car usually right on top of that high voltage connector. I'm curious to hear what you guys think about it. I appreciate your comments. Thanks
