Your internal clock is off, start waking up at 7 and bed by 10:30-11 at latest (ensure you have a window for 8 full hours).

I had/have severe apnea and the drs would not believe me, patient profiling me. Now even with a cpap machine my throat is collapsing (and refused follow up) I am still only sleeping 1-2 hrs a night. I will eventually expire. What would you suggest?

As a patient for last 13 years and currently in the episode. I think researchers going on a wrong direction. They are treating patients for symtoms and not the cause. They treat for EDS . Cognitive. Mood swings. But none of them address the cause. Which is not wakefulness.. But waking up refreshed and rejuvenated. It is the issue when we sleep and how the Nuerotramitter work in the brain and set your body and brain Perfect.. This is not happening in KLS. Please address this..

I can sleep about 3-4 hours without interruption on a good night, then for some reason I wake up, either to use the restroom or some noise or neck or headaches. Over the years I’ve noticed that I am in so much more pain, my memory is terrible and my moods 😭 But all the doctors I’ve explained this to so far have dismissed it

Hi there, From my understanding, lack of sleep, lack of oxygen Nd spicy foods can produce bad moods. Sleep with a window open and allow fresh air to circulate in your room freely as it induces sound sleep. It also gives a sense of happiness and well-being by altering brain levels of serotonin. Ensure that you make the room as dark as possible to block out blue light and help the body produce melatonin that helps you to get to sleep, i believe. Avoid using the phone or devices 1 hour before bedtime if they produce blue light and do not have blue light filter or eye comfort shield. 1 hour of sleep for recovery before midnight is better than 2 hours after, so i would recommend to get enough before midnight. Retiring to bed and waking up at the same time is also highly recommendable as the body will be programmed to perform that act of sleep/recover during those periods, i believe. Cultivate a habit to read before going to bed (non-fiction) as your brain will get tired and will be inclined to rest (the organ in control of others), i believe. Avoid caffeinated drinks e.g coffee, green or black tea, chocolates, energy drinks and anything else containing the addictive and diuretic drug that will irritate and stimulate your brain, heart and nerves, and it may cause you to stay awake. If your occupation is sedentary and not physical, make sure to take plenty of exercises e.g brisk walking. 💙💙💙
