Sleep in a CAVE HOUSE w/ Luxury Interior & Stone Hot Tub

Steve was always intrigued by two giant boulders on his property that leaned up against each other. After years of looking at the rocks, he decided to dig out a large cave between the two boulders to build a hot tub room. He then continued to dig out the area, adding a green roof in some locations, to ultimately create the modern cave house you see in this video. *UPDATE *Steve has since sold the property and the rentals (including the cave) are no longer available

I wanted to pair this with an updated book on local codes to start planning a post-retirement dream shop. I think I have just about everything I need between the two. The extra plans available for purchase towards the end are priced almost as much as full home plans, not little sheds however.

I’ve been in and seen a number of rock or cave houses and this one is one of the very best! The colors he used are perfect. The hot tub is brilliant. And to think it’s only a 90 minute drive from me. I must go stay a night there

I love this, Jenna! Thank you for another winning video! Steve didn't mention it, but I imagine it costs next to nothing to heat or cool this cave house, surrounded by all that rock as it is. Leavenworth is definitely a beer town. Fashioned after Bavarian mountain villages. I think they have the second largest Octoberfest in the world or at least one of the largest.

ExposingMiLabs it’s a fun place to go for Christmas too and is near a ski slope if you ski. There’s a sledding hill if you don’t.
