I’ve been in and seen a number of rock or cave houses and this one is one of the very best! The colors he used are perfect. The hot tub is brilliant. And to think it’s only a 90 minute drive from me. I must go stay a night there

Leavenworth is definitely a beer town. Fashioned after Bavarian mountain villages. I think they have the second largest Octoberfest in the world or at least one of the largest.

ExposingMiLabs it’s a fun place to go for Christmas too and is near a ski slope if you ski. There’s a sledding hill if you don’t.

I love Rock and am somewhat of a Minimalist and Purist so I'm really surprised how the seemingly incongruous metal umbrella spine roof with fleurescent light of all things gives the place such a dynamic contrast that elevates it to a whole new dimension. When things are not rigidly preconceived and given a chance to evolve and come to their own solutions they reveal themselves to be appropo and thus achieve the status of art. A quintessential statement is born, validating itself within it's own language, a pleasant surprise for sure.

I myself find the lighting very annoying and the decor except for the fireplace is incongruent it would not be a comfortable place to stay in also, there is no real kitchen unless you want to make hotdogs outside this is more of an infomercial for his air bnb kudos to the marketing staff
