A good way to counter SCP-3060 is to use 2840, Apex Nightmare. The creature fights nightmares, allowing people to get a good night's sleep. But it can only treat 1 person at a time and it cannot multiply.

Could the Apex Nightmare do anything about it? Have someone in REM sleep use 3060 (since that's the conditions Apex will appear), and see what happens.

The target must be infected with 2840 prior to 3060 exposure. But may be already non-anomalous lucid dreaming is enough to protect yourself?

What’s worse? The amorphous blob part is actually something that some people see. There is a group of people that can die in their sleep, and only a few have survived it. Luckily, it is only a few hundred people, and it was from having to run from their home and probably due to the stress from it. Most of us have not dealt with this, but I wouldn’t worry about it regardless.

I remember when I had sleep paralysis, (the real kind obviously,) but I kept on focusing on one body part trying to move it failing then waiting and trying again. I also heard sounds behind me like sheets rustling, as if someone had come out of a hiding place and snuck out. Fortunately for me I knew exactly what was going on once it started, (thank you so much Teen Wolf,) and so I was able to keep myself calm throughout the whole ordeal.

Good job 👍 I also have it but I have trouble staying calm even thought I realize what is happening. Each time I panic and then I think I’m either dead, dying, or going to, but luckily the episodes have gotten much shorter and I’m not hallucinating as much anymore.

I suffer from tons of sleep paralysis due to some trauma and mental condition from it. My solution was to keep an axe beside my bed and putting knife under a pillow so I could at least feel safe from any invaders. And try lifting a finger when you are paralyzed, it could eventually wake you up.
