I did not expect Bilmuri to be so good live. Gabby is a legend. For ST the setlist being chronological was such a good move. And the Espera and II rising up during the show was sooo good. At one point I thought II was going up the ceiling 😂

I spoke to Johnny and Gabi after they played in Amsterdam, during the sleep token set. They were having so much fun and felt so comfortable doing what they clearly love to do. It was a lot of fun seeing them. Sleep Token was also awesome, loved the lights. But I did hope for a bit more lights pointing to the stage cause I couldn't see II and IV at all. Yeah oke, II during the solo. But all in all, a great combination and alovely evening!

Have been to many concerts over the decades but first for Sleep Token and Bilmuri. What I experienced was a really surreal, incredibly professional performance from both. If felt like bands when they are new and fresh and enjoy as much as the crowd the music. I really felt almost transported to somewhere else. I felt emotional and incredibly privileged and lucky to have been there for it. Totally agree with everything said in this vid. ❤️
@VaschbaerАй бұрын
I got to see them four times on that tour, twice in Europe and then both O2 shows, and it just never gets old. Every show was unique and special in its own way. The lightshow is just incredible. It's a shame that, while still looking absolutely amazing, it doesn't really translate well on photo or video how far the lights extend over the crowd and that you can never capture the feeling of standing in the pit, close to the stage, with the lights above and even behind you. It really draws you in and makes you feel like you're a part of the experience, not just watching a band perform. The way Vessel pours his heart out on stage every night and still nails every note while even crying is beyond me. I'm not the type of person to cry at a gig, I'm usually too full of happy emotions, but Ascensionism in Frankfurt and the moment when Vessel got on his knee at the end of Euclid and let the crowd sing at the last show of the tour brought me this close to tears. And Bilmuri? I'd never heard of them before they were announced as support for this tour, but they quickly climbed to my top 5 artists and I was so excited to see them. They absolutely smashed it. I particularly loved the crowd's reactions to the HOO in Better Hell, like a collective stunned "whoa!". I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about the sound of it, it literally shook my bones. Gabi is a queen! I knew she played sax, but I was so surprised to see her go off on the flute, and in my favorite song of theirs as well, and her vocals are just out of this world. I loved every second of it! I can't believe it's already been a whole month since the the last show.

I also went to OVO in Glasgow but unfortunately missed most of their set, so this show, I was just over the moon to be there. Great band - even better vibes. I’m so proud of how much the band has grown, Vessel in particular is much more comfortable with large crowds now. I wish I could’ve gone to London, I think there’s something special about seeing them on their home turf. Hopefully I can go to Download next year. I went to Zurich, Nuremberg and Frankfurt. Zurich was unique because I was seeing them under less than ideal circumstances but I appreciate the “show must go on” ethos. I agree that Johnny Franck seems like a genuinely nice dude. I was watching Bilmuri get their PA set up at the last minute, their gear had arrived an hour before, and Johnny kept his cool through the whole thing. Gabi is a major woman crush for me. By the time they got to Frankfurt everything was dialed back in and all the Sleep Token bois were healthy, it was an amazing show. I’m really excited to see where the next album goes!

I was at the Glasgow show and it easily goes into my top 3 of all time. Like, comfortably. The atmosphere was incredible, both bands were faultless and the production was incredible. My favourite thing outside of the performance as well, was the increasing intensity of red lighting used throughout ST’s third act of the set, until we reached TMBTE when it went green. Just a subtle visual nod to Vessel’s ascendancy from what he was, to what he’s become. Incredible storytelling on all levels.

II was there too, travelling from Berlin to London after seeing them there on the 22nd. And while the Berlin concert was already great, especially the light show and of course the amazing set list, which is honestly genius and so satisfying. But the O2 arena was next level, totally blew my mind and I'm actually sad that I experienced it already, that it's over and even if I see them again, it won't be like that. The best thing for me though was the atmosphere in the room. The way everyone around me stood up when they came on stage and kept standing and dancing and singing along. Like you said, the closest I've ever been to a religious experience.
