Sleep Token - End of Chapter

Ive only just recently discovered sleep token, which makes me feel kind of terrible but i have not felt this way about a band since I was a very young teen. I'm 32 now and EVERY single song makes me feel something, be it sadness or elation. They have utterly consumed me to the point where I now feel empty if I haven't listened to them for a day. I am so glad I found them at this point in my life, I needed them.

It’s been two weeks since I discovered them and I am all aboard! I just turned 50. I’m reborn again in other areas and Sleep Token are the perfect companion. It’s gonna be a great road ahead, for the band, it’s fans new and old, and the planet. Perfect for the age of Aquarius!

There is no shame in discovering them now. I know them since there first EP, but that doesn't make me more fan. There is band that I discovered late and that I absolutely adore. You may have a different experience with their evolution than mine but it's just a different one, not a worse or better one!

I was driving home from their show on Thursday and had a moment of real sadness thinking about this. Everything up to and including now has been such a great journey with this band, it feels almost like moving out for the first time, knowing that so many good memories are just in the past. But then I remembered that this should only mean good things for the band, at least in the short term, which is amazing. Great video.

Nothing lasts forever. They couldn't remain our "secret gem" for all time.. Even tho it would be nice to keep having shows in more intimate venues, we have to face the reality and be happy for the guys. They deserve every bit of the success they are seeing atm. Agree. I also saw them on the 18th of Jan and everything was against me going to that concert: husband couldn’t leave work earlier, couldn’t get childcare for the night, one of the kids got sick but I knew, like really deep down that I had to see them now, before the big boom, before the concerts got too big to get that “close” feeling… So I got into my big girl pants and went to the concert alone, for the first time on my life. It was everything I hoped and more and I am sooo happy to have seen them while they were still just ours, in a “small” venue but also so happy to know that it was probably the last time they played stages of this size, because it’s going to get much bigger and I am so proud of them. 😢 ❤ WORSHIP

It is not silly to make a Video about something you are passionate about, it is not a waste of time if it fulfils you in a way and there is nothing wrong in trying to solve riddles a band has left for the consumer, that is exactly what they are there for! Most of the comments I see on this video in particular are positive, which is great, but it infuriates me to see that someone would say mean stuff like that, they don't get it, and they don't have to, but it seems like they never heard of "live and let live", Sleep Tokens music has touched an incredible amount of people and it is only natural to be curious and investigative. Thank you for this video, keep up the great work!

I'm a recent convert to the band but this still made me cry 😭 I can only imagine how the people who have known , loved and appreciated this band must be feeling with this whirlwind of abrupt change and uncertainty To see something that you saw the potential of that you knew was special expand and be recognized and loved by new masses much be so complex In a way I envy those who have experienced more of this journey and gotten to see them grow and rise On the other hand I am happy to be coming in a bit late to the party and knowing that there is such a massive community that continues to grow that feels what I feel .. that understands how incredible this band is They mean so much to so many and that is an amazing thing to know and be a part of. Thank you to the og fans for supporting and loving them and helping them grow and for welcoming us newbies and helping us get caught up on the history and lore of the greatest band on the planet . I only started listening to Sleep Token last year but they have quickly become one of the most important bands in my life. I totally understand what you are talking about, I feel such a connection with them through their music which just speaks to me on so many different levels. Honestly glad but also guilty I didn't find Sleep Token until this year. I was hearing the jazzy ending for The Summoning everywhere on TikTok and I enjoyed it but it's not really what I go for when listening to rock and metal so I'll be honest I almost didn't listen to the full song but thank the gods I did. After listening to The Summoning on repeat for days I immediately started listening to their other songs and I'm loving what I'm hearing. The vibes are do different from everything else on my playlists and it's thrilling!

Literally ...since discovered this amazingness....I loved it...pure emotion, then brutal slams,yet always in sync.. instantly hearing them I had triggers from tool/apc,deftones,queen,floyd,slipknot(secrecy) just overwhelmed with amazingness that's legit covered every style of music perfectly. Besides hip hop / rap. And before anyone hates my opinion.....I won't be surprised if they knock that category out the park. No matter what this band is amazing. Worship!

I found sleep token around 2019/2020 when Spotify blessed me with The Night Does Not Belong to God on my discover weekly playlist...but I literally just found out their was an entire community like this around them with their latest releases. Now I feel like I missed out on the entire experience of knowing of sleep token before 2023 haha Still so fun to watch your videos and learn about all the lore and hidden messages. I love the fact that Vessel and the rest of Sleep Token have brought a whole personality to a name to not even show it as a brand, but to bring lore and bring music that has a story shrouded in mystery and letting people get invested, they really knew what they were doing from day one and it's really paying off for them, I wish them all the best in the coming years and hope that they thrive in years to come, they all truly deserve it.

Your beginning and end speeches gave me chills, with the latter actually making me tear up a bit! Music has always been my one true comfort, the thing I can always go to - and you described that feeling perfectly. As you said, even if it may just be a band, or a song, that doesn't mean that you can't look into it and analyze it, find patterns or clues, especially when it comes to a band who specializes in that very thing. But at the end of the day, even if there are none, there's nothing wrong with having fun and playing detective with the things you love. I've been a fan of Sleep Token since 2021. I've been lucky enough to seem them live, and I can without a doubt say I've never been as emotionally touched by a band's musical work than I have with them. From Vessel's pain soaked voice, to the sorrowfulness in his lyrics, everything about the band is just breathtaking to me. But it isn't just sadness they bring, they bring joy too. Whether it be simply because of the good music, or their antics on stage (mostly talking about III), they bring it all, every time. I said I was lucky enough to see them live, well, I feel even luckier to see them rise and grow, because of there's a band that deserves it, I can't think of anyone better than Sleep Token. Fantastic video, Luke. Loved every second of it. And as for album or song release dates, I definitely am the kind of person who enjoys sitting down with an album where I can listen to the majority of it for the first time, but tbh that whole bi weekly thing and world sleep day sounds very Sleep Token to me lol. Either way, no complaints here, I'm just excited and thankful to be here, and for what's to come, whatever or whenever that may be.

I have been a fan since tpwbyt dropped but never delved into the lore, mostly because I was unaware. After the latest singles, I joined the discord community and read a lot about the lore and felt sad that I missed out. Even without the Sleep Day 3/17 theory, I love the idea of biweekly releases. I became a fan very shortly after Sundowning fully released. I just commented on your 'The Lore' Video saying something similar to what I am about to say just in hyper condensed form but the first 0:53 seconds provoked a response on its own: Is it... Silly? Perhaps, it is, however Is not Art a silly thing that the Human Animal does? Is not the Conscious Experience as we know it a bit, absurd? Further is Music not to be taken as Art? To many people it seems to have been decoupled from art, Both Musicians and Consumers are guilty of that. And thats a Bit Silly too isn't it? Clearly Music is Art, and to truly enjoy a piece of art is to have a small part of your soul utterly replaced by it. Alkaline is not a song to me, Its a piece of who I am. And any other medium that provoked such a response from so many would be given serious credence as a field of study and analysis. It's due to Silly, Fanatical, people who saw depth that Tolkien Studies became an actual field of Scholarly Research. Why then should Sleep Token be exempted from the same critical and analytical lens because they make music? This is the only band to have ever made me cry by how *beautiful* I found their art to be, and how *connected* i felt to their art.
