The story began with their debut album Sundowning, the first track being "The Night Does Not Belong to God". Where that final section at the end is originally from. So it's more like the story ends where it began. It went full circle. Highly recommend listening from Sundowning to This Place Will Become Your Tomb and then finishing with Take Me Back To Eden.

Fave detail of this song another KZbinr pointed out: the first line is "just run it back, give me five whole minutes" and the song is 5 minutes and 13 seconds long. ADDITIONALLY, Vessel starts singing roughly 13 seconds into the song, so he's singing for 5 whole minutes. On top of that, this song is full of callbacks to their entire discography and ultimately ENDS on the piano and the lyrics of the first song from their first album. So Vessel ran it back...and he did it in 5 whole minutes... GENIUS song crafting

Add to that fact that Euclid was a Greek mathematician and the father of geometry. The references to running it back and running it forward and symmetry tie in as well.

If you were fan boy like me, the choice for best song on the album is easy, it’s this one. There are Easter eggs throughout calling back to Sundowning & This Place Will Become Your Tomb, but this track brought it full circle ⭕️. Amazing song, and amazing song writing and album construction. This may end up in my top 10 all time albums.

from the ending of Euclid he's talking about the story ending but the instrumentals and lyric call backs all make it seem to suggest that his story is in fact a loop and never truly ending looping all the way back to phase 1 in the initial eps and sundowning

Hey, just to clarify, the Singer is called "Vessel", "II" (just 2) on Drums, III (3) on Bass, and IV (4) on guitar. Only the singer goes by Vessel, i.e. the Vessel of Sleep's message or will. One of the band members does some vocal bits here and there (99% is vessel i believe), and II does some writing as well.
