They’re so damn talented, I like how I hear people say they’re weird cuz the way they dance and dress but that’s the best part ,the band are freaks of nature talent wise , there’s no human face attached to them just a pure unit of entity and passion through their music. I’m moved , when I was a kid slipknot , daft punk , blue man group gave this mystery too but ALL were musical geniuses like you couldn’t suck at music to do what they did , I’d even throw in SOAD in there too not because of how they dressed but only because how unique and unorthodox their sound was at the time you either were disturbed by these types of artists or completely blown away, bravo 👌

I've just realised how they get such great guitar sounds . It's a 12 string electric not your standard 6 string . The depth of clearly defined sound is now how they can be so ethereal . It's also the 5 string bass that sends it so out there . Can't wait till they tour Australia .
@Eyeyamgod Жыл бұрын
Wrong. In this video it's a 8 string Jackson. He also uses a 30 inch scale baritone by Gretch and it's a 6 string. What gives it the tight tone is that the bass isn't tuned as low. Only guitar is. This is what gives it more texture because tuning bass so low you lose that thump and you're left with the sub frequencies.

If anyone is new to sleep token, this video is one of the best examples I’ve seen (thank you daylight) of how Vessel presents the offering to the deity Sleep at the end. According to the band’s admission, each song they have created is an offering (or “token”) to Sleep, and so you’ll notice when they perform live, vessel will end the songs in some sort of offertory pose like this, sending up the performance to Sleep.
