The first time I heard this song I cried. When he got to "the night belongs to you" I made some kind of gasping sob and my son ran in to check on me. I don't usual cry over songs but Vessel has found a way to make me tear up over a few. Worship.

It’s such a beautiful ending to this crazy three album story they just told. I love how the “for me” hangs perfectly between two different statements. The promise to himself of “I must be someone new.” It’s also equally a part of “It’s still the autumn leaves, these ancient canopies, that we used to lay beneath,” I’m not usually romantic but that passage just floors me every time.

when I first listened to it I absolutely loved it, and as I kept listening to it again and again, focusing more on the lyrics, the instruments and every other detail made me love it even more. Such a beautiful song and a clever, perfect way to end the trilogy!

This song is such a companion piece to "the Night Does Not Belong To God". Not just the obvious citation at the end, but the melody pattern, even down to the chorus with the gaps in instrumentation. To end the three album cycle with this is pure genius. Seriously, one of the best songs I've heard in years. Gets me every time.
@oviate17 ай бұрын
This song is such a perfect culmination of the 3 albums. Even as a standalone song, it’s a masterpiece, but when you fit the last piece of the puzzle together with all the callbacks throughout and finishing it with The Night Does Not Belong To God, it becomes so much more perfect. Take Me Back To Eden just had its one year anniversary yesterday, and as many times as I’ve listened to Euclid, it still makes me cry every damn time.

It ties directly into the first song on the first record called "The night does not belong to god". That last part was the bridge to that song, which has been my favorite songs for 5 years. So when I heard that part I was sobbing the happiest of tears. Absolute peak artistry of the musical variety.

Your analysis, candor and real-time reactions are absolutely top notch. Very much enjoy your interpretation and reconciliation of the notes given and story portrayed. The way you detail your point of view of the lyrical meaning, the way you describe your understanding, leads us as the audience of your depiction of the story - a fourth person recollection of events told by the narrator is quite simply limitless - as all stories should be, up for interpretation.

This song has so many callbacks to the past songs - it's a real treat when you have gone through the whole discography eventually! I love your imagery explanation at the end - unbeknownst to you, you kind of nailed the imagery from the albums all coming together to symbolize new beginnings blossoming from pain and learning. Please go back (even on your own) and do the whole discography eventually. You will appreciate this song even more.

Just saw this live as they end of the show. The whole set is an emotional journey bordering on a religious experience. You feel the weight of the traumatic experience it must have taken to cause the extremes in these feelings. But, by the end...when they played Euclid, you felt the deep breath. You feel a sense of healing and growth past it all, the beginning of his next chapter. Whether this is correct from vessels perspective I don't know, but I was moved in this way that words have trouble expressing and it made it an incredibly unique, important, and profound experience for me. Worship.

Its almost criminal to listen to this song on its own without any context. This song is vessels journey. From the 1st EP to now. And even before you know what to listen for. Its callbacks really hit a fans soul deep. Many of said this is vessels letter to fans. Id just like to think its him encapsulating his own journey to paper. But the fact they ended euclid with the song from the 1st track of the first album is sheer genius. Feeling like the circle is complete. Amazing stuff.
