I can assure from experience that Dr Meadows' therapy works. Thanks to his book I could get over one of the scariest episodes of my life produced by insomnia.

How long did you have insomnia for? I'm dealing with it now.

I reckon the hardest part lasted for one, maybe two months. After I read Dr. Meadows' book I began to improve slowly. It is a process, you have to be patient. Coach Daniel has several useful videos as well, although they came after my trouble with insomnia. The thing that I do not recommend is CBT. I believe that was what caused my problems with sleep in the first place. When I read Dr. Meadows' book it really helped to know that I was not the only person with my symptoms, in fact, later I learn that my case was very typical. Thinking that you are different and that nobody could help you gave me a very sinister feeling. Believe me when I say everything is in your mind and you can get over it.

7:00 and I'm already in a mind trip. I have always felt like my mind is who I am. I'm a very cerebral person. So, even just shifting my outlook to consider that there is more to "me" than my mind is hard to wrap my head around. But I feel like fully realizing that could change my life in more ways than sleep.

“I am noticing…” labeling what if you do that a lot in the middle of the night when you can’t fall back to sleep. Is it still beneficial or counter productive?

Doctor? Do you read this? What if one only thinks of: I won't ever recover from this thing?
