I have not sleep well since I quit drinking alcohol and taking anxiety pills.... I think this actually helped me get a bit of sleep... The ocean sound is key

I know this was written over a year ago, but I also stopped taking anxiety meds, and it's been over 3 months, and I still wake up throughout the night I found this meditation a while back and it is seriously the only thing that will get me back to sleep.

I feel you man. I’ve been struggling on like 1-3 hrs of sleep a night since tapering off methadone. But these yoga nidras help to get me off to a nap. 62 days off methadone; hope you’re still doing well and on the journey❤

The first few times I tried this I was asleep in less than 10 minutes. Last night (@ 3am) I was able too go deeper... Had some awesome dreams and woke up energized and with a great attitude! I'm 67 and really understand the value of a good night's sleep. You have greatly improved my quality of life. I can't thank you enough!

Hey Ally you got it down! This really helps me get back to sleep in the middle of the night. I'm glad you made one for insomnia and not just deep rest. Sometimes I try to do it on my own giving my own suggestions my eyelashes are relaxed my nose hairs are relaxed and all my body parts. When that doesn't do it I try you it has helped immensely. You're a good healer! Sleep is the most important.

Complete this one this morning! Didn’t have the greatest sleep last night so this morning when my daughter had her first nap I started this one. I fell asleep downstairs about 15 or so minutes in but only had a quick deep sleep and then back to conscious awareness for the rest but it felt very restful. :)

I love the quiet tone of your voice and the interesting way you set up the yoga nidra, not just starting randomly (I always felt) at the right hand thumb. It was 7 am when I found it and it helped me relax after a night of horrible insomnia. Tonight I’m going to listen again and every night when I feel like this. 🙏 thank you

The last week or so this yoga nidra has ended and a loud advert plays and wakes me up. I have always had 2 adverts beforehand but the one afterwards is really problematic. I don’t know if this is something you can change within KZbin? I love your yoga nidras.

Thanks, However, after 35 mins, I relax that much my breathing stops. My leg twitches to alert. Concentrate to take a few breaths, but the cycle repeats. Adjust position to lay on side as I breathe better and sleep in that position. Obviously waking up and cancelling the meditation. Any suggestions please?

I went out almost immediately. Truth be told, I hadn't slept well the night before so most likely I would have fallen asleep quickly anyway, but I'm definitely going to keep this in my favorites to use next time I have trouble. Yoga nidra and this channel are a recent discovery for me, so I'm still exp!oring the offerings here.

This really helps me sleep, I’ve tried the longer ones and there is something about this one that works however after an hour I wake up as it goes onto another one or repeats and then the talking at the beginning wakes me up. Is there any chance of having this one continue with the white noise at the end for much longer like a good few hours. It’s the only thing I’ve found helps me sleep and reduces my anxiety

It was probably automatic replay and the next video with the ad, even though this nidra was the last one in my playlist. I didn't see any ad in the end as I checked now. So it was probably the KZbin app's fault. I put the automatic replay off.

Somehow I had a dream up midway during this practice. Sometimes I fall asleep during these but in the dream I was standing in the kitchen and I could hear the wave splashing through my headphones and some part of me knew I was in the middle of a practice.
