We used to chill at my friend's house, he'd put this track on while we talked about life and such. It was our last months of university. I was telling my friends that im gonna go and talk to this girl i really really liked from other department. This song on the background would always made me think about her. i couldn't sleep for days and weeks, she was always on my mind... It didn't work out, but this is one of those songs that reminds me of my friend's house and all those chill times. Thank you.

İnsan bir kere boşluğa düştüğünde toparlanması çok zor oluyor. Bunun bedeli de çoğunlukla ağır oluyor bazen aşırı yemekle, bazen aşırı kavgacı olmakla... Bunu söylemek gerçekten çok zor ancak yine de iyi şeyler de oluyor. Her şeye rağmen bir yerden, bir daldan tutup kendini oraya çekmek belki de kurtuluş olur. Çevrenizde iyi şeylerin de olduğunu görmelisiniz. Eğer gerçekten yoksa ne yazık ki kendiniz yaratmalısınız. Bu boşluk çok kötü bir boşluk. Bilemem ama az da olsa düşününce çok kötü hissediyorum. En sevdiğini kaybetmek çok ama çok derinden etkiliyor insanı ben de halamdan tattım bu duyguyu. Babanızla sizin ilişkiniz kadar yakın değildim halamla ancak 3 yıl geçmesine rağmen bu dünyada beni ağlatabilen 2 şeyden biridir onun ölümü. Kanser olmuştu hayat şartlarından, üzüntüden, temkinsizlikten... Burayı günlük olarak kullanma fikri bence de güzel.

It's the postrock music like this which makes me appreciate the beauty of genres. I believe the stories one interprets from or associates to a song like this can never be captured in a different genre like rock or ambient, or at least the storytelling would not be this powerful. brilliant work!

Humans around you yes can produce the right tones and "words" to help you feel better, but ultimately happiness and joy is decided by you yourself. How you decide to perceive the world, joyfully or negatively. As the joker would say "why so serious?". He had a good point. Last note, don't stress about connecting with other, first learn to connect with yourself. Not your body or mind, but your soul. Music can help in the search. Once you understand, you can begin sharing yourself with the world, either they wanna listen or not should not matter. It is the simple fact you are alive and able to be involved that should bring YOU joy, do it for you first and foremost, then share the love with others.

My comment was meant to relate to @Brite Lites's comment. Their issue was concerning connecting to ppl and how that made them feel. If the song and outside forces could influence their emotional state then they must have control of some sort but are unaware. Now if their brain made them feel one way or the other regardless of how good or bad life is going then thats a medical issue.

Well...dont chalk it up to a broken brain so soon =/. Maybe its just that you haven't found anything really worth feeling anything towards. Life is long, and constantly moving forward. You never know. For me being alive alone is enough. Being able to walk out the door and decide if I wanna be a joy to other ppl or a terror and ruin their day. Its not about how significant my role is or the impact, its the fact that I even get a role and an influence to those connected to my life...good or bad, in my bed at the end of the day I feel joy.

I listen to this as I'm reading "Paper Towns" for John Green. It's about a runaway teen girl who disappears but then found by her childhood friend. All in all, it makes perfect sense to attach this emotional soundtrack to a very emotional book.

I love it! Being a big fan of post-rock, I find this music really different and original. Vadim do you know the great director Andrei Tarkovsky?
