With it having as much vacuum it did at full throttle and idle it just made sense there was a restriction of air flow. When Trevor called it was always stuck at -9 on the vacuum side no matter what . So the engine was pulling super hard to get fed air. That’s how that was solved. Nice find Trevor! Your rippin!

Trev, a D series making 500 whp is a hell of a feat. I realize that it's at least a piston and rod engine from your yellow coupe, but still, 500 whp is ALOT for a single slammer. I'm currently making 612 whp with a built LSVTEC with a GTS3582 at 22.5 psi.

Definitely wished Honda released an AWD version to the USDM. I'd love to replicate a Euro-R AWD-sedan, for cheap, like throw an Acura MDX drivetrain under a sedan. (When I have money)

I had a piece of a rag shoved in my turbo oil return line. Thought i blew my turbo. Put restricters in the top feed because it kept smoking. Last thing i did was pull off the bottom return line and boom! There was my problem! I rebuilt my turbo thinking it was seals. 😂😂😂

I always wanted to send a D16Z6 block to CSS and build it with some good Traum pistons, Manley rods, and an Eagle crank with a big turbo and swap it into a CRX or an EF sedan, but I went EJ8 instead.

I have a 98 sedan d16y7 automatic I want to do something with. I just need to find a car guy friend with a shop. It's cheaper to pay a friend to help then to go to a shop. I'd just build the non VTEC engine with a turbo. Install Springs, retainers, ARP head studs, gasket, turbo kit. 5speed with a stock lsd and pucked single plate clutch. That would be plenty enough for me.
