That's wild. One of the first cars on my channel was my buddy Charles Tercel of the same generation. He took a 3E bottom end, put on a 5 EFE head, and a stock turbo off of the same car that I feature on my channel. An 89 Ford Probe GT turbo, and it made like 200 WHP on 14 PSI and was a little rocket lol

Damn, that sucks. Hope you can get it going. Seems like a stout motor. His is built of course but even in stock form it wouldn’t take a lot to make it fast considering the weight. Just some boost. His just made 505hp the other day on the dyno. I was there watching. 😂 This car is hilarious.

That’s a good question for the owner of the car. His Instagram is in the description. He’s a fabricator so a lot of stuff he made, but a lot of other things are kinda Frankenstein. Like the trans is from a corolla I believe he said. I’d just search the internet. I’m sure something will pop up.

As far as handling power reliably compared to stock new small turbo displacement motors? I’m not sure what the motor is rated for now but he did just make 500hp last month on the dyno.

@@shaneomatic9188 Yes, What comes to mind are modern cars like the Chevy Sonic, Cruze and even the Ford Ecoboost 3 cylinders. They aren't setup to handle that many HP and seems to brake down.
