Sailor AJ I live in the suburbs of Chicago but I have family downtown. I love to sleep over and crack open a window and go to bed. I fall asleep to police sirens,cars, even shootings I've heard. its so calming

This video is 5 years old, yes, but I only just found it now. I am trying to write a specific scene where they are trying to sleep in the living room on the second story floor of an apartment building and this is perfect for it since the city is so quiet. Thank you for this.

we had an appartement in the middle of the city i used to listen to this sounds every night but when my dad bought a house far from the city i miss those sounds and i play it every night to sleep my inghlish is bad i now 😂😂😂✌🏻😅 but thanks for this audio

If I recall from when I recorded this (a few years ago in downtown Vancouver where I lived), I believe it was one of the food businesses at street level loading in. It does sound like a car crash though... I had to listen to it a few times myself trying to recall what it was!
