"Sleepwalk" has been my favorite since I first heard Santo & Johnny play it on American Bandstand.. I have heard, and enjoyed, several different arrangements and variations on the original. They have been good, but none that I would call better; until now, anyway. You, sir, have put so much heart into the presentation of this melody that this has moved me more than the original. Thank you.

Very, very nice version. Clear and clean, with nice effects, not overdone. But Hank Marvin's inspira- tion was the original by Santo and Johnny. I think you should have introduced it that way. Hank did.
@highpitwilma5 жыл бұрын
larry geetar..he does say in the title,that it is a mixture of old and new, so with artistic licence,do you not think he made a lovely job of the intro,even if it was improvised..? Mind ,in saying that,I am the most purist fanatic in the world,when it comes to playing like Hank,and I have played Hank's version as perfect as I could,since the day it was released,but I always recognise talent and brilliant playing ,like this guy,who has the silkiest feel with the plec..walk in the room and you would think that it was Hank playing!!..[ I said the same about Phil McGarrick...great player also!]..I respect your opinion,Larry,and also your good and sensible thoughts on the vid. Cheers Mate!
